Harvest of Horror

It’s harvest season, and Denver Horror Collective is kicking off our Harvest of Horror by announcing the freshest fiction from our small press and members!

FRONTIERS OF FRIGHT: A SOUTHWESTERN HORROR ANTHOLOGY, is scheduled for a soft launch on Halloween. In this anthology, readers will explore the ominous and unnerving aspects of the Southwest landscape, its creepy inhabitants, and unfortunate visitors. Take an eerie journey with 18 chilling tales ranging from horrors from frightful frontiers times to present day terrors. FRONTIERS OF FRIGHT will be available in print and eBook.

Also, be sure to check out our latest Terror Tuesday installment, announcing WHERE THE SHADOWS ARE SHOWN, the much-anticipated forthcoming short story collection from DHC founding member, Josh Schlossberg, on sale September 30!

If you didn’t drop by the DHC booth at the Colorado Festival of Horror to say hi to our volunteers and pick up fun and frightful swag and dark reads, you can also catch us at our three monthly critique groups: in-person short fiction, virtual short fiction, and novel writing group, email submissions [at] denverhorror [dot] com to get involved. Plus, our virtual book club, The Thing in the Labyrinth, will be meeting on Sunday, September 22, to discuss the horror collection The Ghostlands of Natalie Glasgow with author Hailey Piper.

Darkest Regards,

Denver Horror Collective
