This fall is turning out to be one of the busiest—and freakiest—in Denver Horror Collective history.

On September 15-17, DHC had a table at Colorado Festival of Horror, where we sold our anthologies and member publications, tricked people into spinning the Disc of Dread for prizes (and punishments), and recruited new folks to the cult!
On September 30, we tabled at Horrid Spirits Market at Grandma’s House in Denver where the beer and bone cookies (thanks, Maria!) flowed like wine, and we sold out of copies of THE JEWISH BOOK OF HORROR.

On October 1 we published NOT BURIED DEEP ENOUGH, the debut short story collection from DHC co-founding member, Gary Robbe (available in ebook and paperback), launched during ALL HALLOWS IMPROV SCARYTELLING II, our live storytelling event with DHC members Marissa Yarrow, Zak Hennessey, and Shannon Lawrence.
On Saturday, October 7 DHC members Sean Murphy and A.E. Santana are organizing MUSIC TO MY FEARS II, horror fiction readings from DHC members set to live music in partnership with School of Rock, Littleton (more info below).
On Wednesday, October 25 DHC co-founding member Josh Schlossberg will be reading a ghostly tale at DenverFright: Tales of the Strange and Unusual with Denverite at the Bug Theater in Denver.
Not to mention our 3 monthly critique groups and The Thing in the Labyrinth Book Club, come November, DHC may have to hibernate with the bears for a while.
