Denver Horror Collective has been lurking around this summer, sowing our dark seed.

At the Convergence 27 goth festival in August and Colorado Festival of Horror in September, we infected attendees with copies of our new free zine of original DHC member stories, QUICK BYTES, edited by Matt Sprague; sold many copies of our anthologies and collections and published member books; cursed the world with DHC propaganda; and even harvested a few wayward souls.
We’re also sending a few of our most terrifying members, Sara Martinez, Sean Murphy, and Gary Robbe, into a local school to speak with the children about writing horror.
Our critique groups—both in-person and online—continue to operate as our haunted flagships, and if you’re not already aboard, we’ll continue to raise our black flag and sail the shark-infested seas until you do.
If you’re more of a reader, the Creepy Story Collective Book Club hosted by A.E. Santana might be the place to rest your weary bones.
Be sure to sign up for our newsletter to keep up to date: https://denverhorror.com/contact/
Hope your Halloween goes horrifically, and we’ll be here waiting on the other side…if you survive!
Darkest Regards,
Denver Horror Collective
