I’m a Colorado native, and I’ve spent most of my years in Denver. Though I enjoy most subgenres of horror, it’s the literary, folkloric, and cultural roots of horror I find most interesting, and I regularly mine those areas for my own writing. Through my podcast Southwest Gothic I share spooky history and weird west stories. I’m currently working on two novels: one is contemporary but loosely based on concepts from Victorian gothic literature and 2nd-wave feminism; the other is historical fiction rooted in regional folklore.
